Infrastructure is key in the economic development and welfare of any community. Key areas being undertaken by AUC in this sector include transport, water, energy and ICT. These infrastructure developments have been crucial in the region and helped to: -

• Facilitate easy intra and interconnectivity within the region.
• Stimulate economic growth and thereby contribute to poverty reduction.
• Reduce isolation and promote regional integration and stability.

The main activities undertaken by AUC in this area include investigation, design, tender documentation and construction supervision of the various projects. Infrastructure experts in AUC bring a diverse background with teamwork approach to projects implementation, creating innovative solutions that are practical, sustainable, creative and environment- friendly.

We are proud to have been involved in key infrastructure developments along the major corridors in the Eastern Africa Region e.g. Addis-Port Sudan corridor, Djibouti-Addis-Juba-Kampala Corridor, and the Northern (Mombasa-Nairobi-Kampala-Kigali-Bujumbura) Corridor.
