Baseline study for the Mombasa Port Community Charter

There has been heavy investment by the government and the private sector in the improvement and modernization of transport infrastructure, logistics services and systems aimed at enhancing trade facilitation. However, challenges still remain and inefficiencies are the biggest impediments to performance at the port of Mombasa and the Northern Corridor adversely affecting their competitiveness.

Africon Universal Consulting ltd. through the support of TradeMark East Africa carried out the baseline study for the Mombasa port corridor which included establishing the baselines, the target for the port corridor stakeholders and developing an M& E platform for performance monitoring through the dashboard.
